Professional Bio


 Dr. Noelani has been a clinician for more than 20 years and holds experience with a variety of populations in non-profit, private, and governmental settings.  As a military veteran she holds a deeper understanding for the many challenges veterans face today. 


Post military, Dr. Noelani spent several years assisting developmentally disabled adults in successfully living independently.  Thereafter, she devoted more than a decade of her career as a child therapist working in group homes, children's crisis shelters, elementary schools, infant-parent centers, therapeutic foster care, child welfare services, intensive in-home therapy as well as conducting adoption and other child placement home studies.  


For the past decade, adults have been Dr. Noelani's primary focus. Her pre-doctoral internship was completed at the esteemed UC Davis Medical Center.

Prior to opening a private practice, Dr. Noelani worked as a clinical director for the State of Hawaii's Adult Mental Health.  Dr. Noelani has been in private practice in Hawaii since 2008. 


She is a mother of 5 with most of her parenting years as a single parent.  Areas of interest and enjoyment include SUP, yoga, horseback riding, creating art, playing music, time in nature (camping, beach trips, hiking), and spiritual retreats & practices.
